Collaboration with artists Christos Papasotiriou and Laura Mateo.

Tierra Eterna is a collaborative project exploring the social and cultural similarities between two significant traditional music forms: Spanish Flamenco and Greek Rebetiko. It investigates the roots of both musical traditions and presents them as an audio narrative highlighting the elements that connect them. The composition’s main idea explores Intangible Heritage and its link to the sounds reflecting each culture’s journey.

Through everyday life, music, and the ephemeral elements that shape our world, the project portrays the realities of these communities. Developing these sounds through new media allows the artists to establish new connections, create fresh interpretations, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the music.
